Meet the Doctors

Dr. Robert Masse was born and grew up in Vancouver, where I graduated from high school then attended Langara College, taking sciences with thoughts of a career in marine biology. A friend's father suggested that I consider chiropractic, an idea that my father, who had gotten great relief from migraine headaches, was also enthusiastic about. After learning a bit about the profession, I applied at the Palmer Chiropractic College, in Iowa, was accepted and completed my D.C degree in 1977.
After 4 years practicing in Vancouver, and looking for a better quality of life, my young family and I moved to Maple Ridge in 1981. The fabulous location of Maple Ridge has suited us perfectly and, being an avid outdoors and exercise enthusiast, I have enjoyed thousands of hours running on the country roads and dikes, golfing and hiking.
With a combination of good fortune and circumstance, we built our Selkirk clinic in 1987, where the goal was to create a professional clinic with a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere; which I hope we have achieved.
The combination of science, art and philosophy and the 'hands on' approach that is Chiropractic, has made it a perfect career choice for me. While it is not a panacea or a cure-all, chiropractic care brings relief from pain and improves the quality of life for millions of Canadians, and it is our pleasure and privilege to serve the people of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

Dr. Debbie Pollard graduated from Western States Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon in 1997. Prior to this she received a Bachelor of Science degree from UBC (Cell biology) and a second degree from SFU (Kinesiology). She has completed a post-graduate certificate in chiropractic pediatrics - ask her about special techniques and procedures for infants and children. Dr. Pollard resides in Maple Ridge with her two children - Nicholas and Alysha.

Dr. Chad Reed graduated cum laude and with clinical honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2001. He previously received a bachelor of science with distinction from the University of Western Ontario. He is a second generation chiropractor and one of five chiropractors in his family. Dr. Reed, his wife Dr. Johanna Reed and their sons Thomas and Miles live in Maple Ridge.

Dr. Brad Williamson  was born and raised in B.C. Involved in competitive sports from an early age; he developed and interest in exercise and performance.  This led him to pursue an exercise science degree from U.B.C. in the Human Kinetics faculty. It was during his university education that chiropractic's holistic philosophy of drugless, hands-on, active care resonated with him.

Dr. Williamson graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2003, and has continued his love of learning, obtaining the following certifications:

  • Certified Laser Technician
  • Active Release Techniques
  • Activator Techniques
  • Rehabilitation protocols
  • Certified WCB provider
  • I.C.B.C. provider

Dr. Williamson currently resides in Maple Ridge with his wife Andrea and daughter's Avery and Micah.  When he isn't busy with chiropractic or laser therapy, the Williamson family can usually be seen doing some of the great outdoor activities Maple Ridge has to offer.
